The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County will be having their annual spring Rabies Clinic on Saturday, April 30th, at the Royal Order of the Moose Pavilion at 77 Universal Forrest Product Rd. in Ranson, WV from 8:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m. Due to Covid Virus, this clinic will be Drive Thru only. All customers must wear face masks. All customers and pets will stay in their cars for registration. Customers will take their pets out of the car for the vaccination under the pavilion. To eliminate traffic congestion, please do not arrive earlier than 8:15. Dr. Alice Sudduth, DVM will be vaccinating dogs and cats at 4 months of age and over. All dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in carriers. There will be a secure, enclosed area available to safely vaccinate cats. The vaccination cost is $10.00 cash or check for each pet. If your pet has been previously vaccinated, you must bring previous Rabies Certificate to receive a three (3) year Vaccination and Certificate, otherwise, the vaccination will be valid for 1 year only. In addition, if this is your pet’s first Rabies vaccine or they are overdue, the vaccine will be valid for one year. To expedite registration, you can download and fill out the pet information form here and print a copy to bring to the clinic. Show you care by vaccinating your pet on April 30th.
