Animal Welfare Society Drive Thru Rabies Clinic September 9th

The Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County will be having their annual fall Rabies Clinic on Saturday, September 9th, at the Loyal Order of the Moose Pavilion at 77 Universal Forrest Product Rd. in Ranson, WV from 8:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m.  This clinic is a drive through clinic with pets staying in the car until their time of vaccination.  To eliminate traffic congestion, please do not arrive earlier than 7:45. Dr. Alice Ellis, DVM will be vaccinating dogs and cats at 4 months of age and over.  All dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in carriers.  No Feral Cats allowed. There will be a secure, enclosed area available to safely vaccinate cats. The vaccination cost is $10.00 cash or check for each pet.  If your pet has been previously vaccinated, you must bring previous Rabies Certificate to receive a three (3) year Vaccination and Certificate, otherwise, the vaccination will be valid for 1 year only.  In addition, if this is your pet’s first Rabies vaccine or they are overdue, the vaccine will be valid for one year.  Show you care by vaccinating your pet on Sept. 9^th.   For information about future events or to view pictures of pets ready to be adopted, visit the AWS web site at www.awsjc.org, call 304-725-0589 or visit AWS face book page https://www.facebook.com/AWSJC
